Using this site

parkersburgmariettatreeremoval.com is owned and operated by Ecrof Media Company LLC, Columbus, Ohio, under the name Parkersburg Marietta Tree Removal. Where these terms say "we" or "us," they mean Ecrof Media Company LLC. By using this site you agree to these terms.

What we do, and what we don't

This site is a free referral service. We connect homeowners in the Mid Ohio Valley with independent local tree service contractors. We do not perform any tree work ourselves.

• Contractors are independent businesses. They set their own prices, give their own estimates and contract with you directly. We are not a party to any agreement between you and a contractor.
• We do not warrant or guarantee any work performed by a contractor.
• We ask contractors for proof of insurance before referring them, but it is your responsibility to verify that the contractor you hire carries the license, permits and insurance required for your job.
• We will try to connect you with a contractor who serves your area, but we cannot guarantee that one is available or how soon, especially after a major storm.

Emergencies

If anyone is hurt or in danger, call 911. If a tree is touching a power line, stay away and call your power company first. Our service is not an emergency response service.

The articles, answers and tips on this site are general information, not professional arborist, legal or insurance advice. Photos on this site are stock images used for illustration. The people shown are not contractors listed on this site.

Text message program

The text message program is operated by Ecrof Media Company LLC under the name Parkersburg Marietta Tree Removal.

How you opt in. Nobody is enrolled automatically, and no number is ever bought, rented or imported from a list. You receive texts only if you check a consent box on our estimate form, found on every page and at our free estimate page, or if you text us first. The form carries two separate consent boxes. Neither is pre checked, and neither is required to send the form. If you leave both unchecked, we call you instead and you are never texted.

The exact consent language. These are the two boxes on the form, word for word:

Checking one box does not check the other. The two consent options are recorded separately.

• What the messages are: non marketing messages are about your tree service request, including estimate scheduling and follow up. Marketing messages are seasonal tree care reminders, storm preparation tips and service updates.
• Message frequency: message frequency may vary. Marketing messages are capped at 4 a month.
• Cost: we do not charge for texts. Message and data rates from your carrier may apply.
• Opt out: reply STOP to any message. You will get one confirmation, then nothing further. Replying STOP stops all texts from that number.
• Help: reply HELP, or call (304) 699 2956.
• Not a condition: consent to texts is not a condition of any purchase.
• Age: the program is intended for people 18 and over.
• Carriers: wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers include major U.S. carriers such as AT&T, Verizon and T Mobile. Availability may vary.
• Privacy: your mobile number and your opt in consent are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing. See our Privacy Policy.

Phone calls

Calls to our numbers may be recorded for quality and to make sure your request reaches the right contractor.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Ecrof Media Company LLC is not liable for any work performed or not performed by a contractor, or for any damage, injury or loss arising from it, or from your use of this site. Your agreement for tree work is with the contractor you hire.

Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio. If we change these terms, we will post the new version here and update the date at the top.
